How Does a NeurOptimal® Dynamic Neurofeedback Session Work?
During your 45-minute appointment, we'll begin with a discussion before you settle into a comfortable chair. Sensors are then placed on your scalp and ears to measure brain activity.
The 33-minute session, completely non-invasive, lets you listen to music, watch a video, or read.
The NeurOptimal® system analyses real-time brain activity, providing feedback through slight interruptions in the audio or video. These interruptions signal the brain to adjust, promoting optimal self-regulation.
After the session, we'll discuss your experiences and observed changes. You can resume your daily activities immediately.
When to Start and How Many Sessions?
You can start Dynamic Neurofeedback at any time. The number of sessions varies per individual needs and desired benefits. Typically, notable results emerge after 10 to 20 sessions, but some notice benefits sooner. It's up to you when to stop.
